A complaint was lodged against the doctors of Civil Hospital here following the death of a minor boy who had undergone surgery on his finger at the hospital.

KURUKSHETRA (Haryana): A complaint was lodged against the doctors of Civil Hospital here following the death of a minor boy who had undergone surgery on his finger at the hospital, sources said on Saturday.
Prabhakar (13) was hospitalised after he injured his finger while playing last evening.
He was given anesthesia and was operated upon by two doctors at the hospital, but did not gain consciousness and was later declared dead.
The boy's parents and relatives filed a complaint against the doctors. The body was sent to Rohtak for post-mortem examination.
Superintendent of Police Sanjay Kumar said the police would wait for the postmortem report and would act accordingly.
