National Democratic Alliance Convener and former defence minister George Fernandes was on Wednesday discharged from a city hospital, a day after he was admitted following complaints of breathlessness and discomfort in chest.
BANGALORE: National Democratic Alliance Convener and former defence minister George Fernandes was on Wednesday discharged from a city hospital, a day after he was admitted following complaints of breathlessness and discomfort in chest.
The condition of the 76-year-old leader is quite stable, the team of cardiologists who attended Fernandes at the Wockhardt Hospital and Heart Institute said.
"Fernandes walked out of the hospital with a battalion of supporters," a hospital official said.
