Women empowerment in Pune, Rahul Gandhi style

Barely 100 metres away from Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi’s rally on SSPMS ground, this woman was scouring the water mains chamber to get potable water even as the Congress activists kept watching her. And at the rally, not only did Rahul sip on cool mineral water, his audience, too, was getting served packaged drinking water. So much for the woman empowerment that Rahul talks about. And when our lensman Snehil Sakhare tried to capture this stark contrast in his camera, the same activists ran to bash him up.
