Pune: Those who are now seeking admissions to standard XI, will have to postpone their vacation plans, as the first part of online and centralized admission process for standard XI, will be starting from April beginning. The admission forms, login ID and password details along with the information booklet on online procedure, will be made available between April, 1 and 10.
The deputy director (Education) has decided to execute the admissions of class XI through online and central admission process, to bring in transparency in the admission process this year. While speaking to reporters, the deputy director of education for Pune region, Suman Shinde said that they have categorized Pune city and Pimpri Chinchwad areas into East, West and Pimpri Chinchwad zones.
Parents seeking admission for their children can collect the information booklet from the respective school in their area. One has to log on to the website (http://pune.fyjc.org.in) with the login ID and password provided along with the booklet and fill the required personal information.
“Parents who are not internet savvy, can take help of the school headmaster or staff for filling the online form,” said Shinde. She cautioned not to take help from any unauthorized person and consult only the schools for any queries.
There are 538 schools in Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad where the information booklet with login ID and password will be available. The second part of form submission will start after the SSC results are declared, wherein students are to fill in their marks and college preferences.

  • In East Zone, the areas which are covered are Hadapsar, Kondhwa, Cantonment, Wanwadi, Swargate, Katraj, Satara Road and in West Zone, areas like Karve nagar, Kothrud, Shivajinagar, Deccan, Aundh, Baner and Pashan and several other small adjoining areas. 
  • For students from CBSE and ICSE board from outside state or the city will have to go to Ness Wadia and MMCC to collect the booklet.
  • Students from any other boards outside the city can approach Ahilya Devi high school, Pune Cantonment Board school, and Godawari Hindi Highschool.
  • The cost of the booklet is Rs 100
