Dr. Jyoti Shinde, Kalyaninagar
What equipments should one have to implement rainwater harvesting in society? How long and expensive is the process?
To understand the process, you should visit the Landmark Garden, which is next to Bishops High School. Also, perceive the condition of the borewell, the types and the filters used and then decide whether you want to do it in single or multiple phases.

Abbas Bootwala, Goodwill No.3
Is a borewell necessary to implement rainwater harvesting programme?
Borewell is required aspect. However, you can have storage pit as an alternative to implement rainwater harvesting
Rtd. Prof. Ravindra Kumar, Clover Water Garden
We don’t get the exact amount of harvest, as expected. Also, can we go on with bigger project instead of one-by-one?
There are two different aspects, one is for the benefit of own society and other is for community society. Whatever, effort you put would not get the returns as expected. Yes, it is applicable. However, if we go with slow and steady, it will ultimately turn into bigger one.

Akhilesh Pandey, Gold Coast Society
We tried to dig up borewells but was unsuccessful, and we still need of 5 to 6 tankers everyday. What can be the alternative for the same?
As an alternative you can go with recharge pits and storage pits. To answer this question one of the individuals (Col. Mohan Gopal, Carnation society) from audience shared his experience about the person as divine water searcher, who accurately tells about the location where borewell can be installed. Such people in Pune charge Rs 2000 per visit.

Niketan Gawade, Chinchwad
Is there any future in government subsidy for future? Can a developer be sued in consumer court, if the borewell in society
is not installed?
People coming up with multiple opinions and implementing it practically is being noticed by government and municipal corporation.
Therefore, there is a high possibility that the government undertakes the initiative. We have also, sued the builders through PIL who have not installed the borewells or the same.
