Women suspects in three robberies in the city in a day

Pune: It was a bizzare day on the city roads when three robbery incidents involving women suspects were reported in different parts of the city. 
Irshad Nihal Khan (21), a resident of Pune Camp has lodged a complaint with the Bund Garden police stating that three persons identified as Sandeep Suresh Khandagale ( 21), a resident of Shrirampur in Ahmednagar, Sameer Haju Pathan (21) and Smita Patil, residents off Warje robbed him to the tune of Rs5,000 near Shanti Kunj Residential Society. 


The police said that the suspects accosted him and snatched his money. All the suspects were later arrested by the police on charges of robbing and issuing threats. 
Meanwhile, four unidentified women allegedly snatched Rs3,000 from one Avanti Suhas Nalawade ( 35). The money was kept in a pusrse in her beauty parlour in Dhanori on Tuesday. According to the police, the women had entered the parlour as customers and demanded money from Nalawade. 


When she refused, they snatched it and escaped. They pushed Nalawade in a scuffle due to which the counter glass of the parlour broke. No arrests have been made so far. 
In Bhosari, a woman stole Rs1,500 from a 22-year-old resident of Shastri Chowk on Wednesday. The Faraskhana police arrested arrested her after the victim Sanjay Kumar Lingappa Rodgi ( 22 ) lodged a complaint. 


According to the police, the woman entered the house unannounced, stole the cash and was fleeing from the spot when she was caught by the local residents and handed over to the police. Assistant police inspector (API) AK Khedkar is investigating the case.
