Peaceful locations, yet connected to the main city, seem to be the demand from homebuyers this season. This demand has spurred top-notch city builders and developers to launch their housing projects in the areas of Sinhagad Road, Baner, Balewadi and Katraj areas that offer not just proximity to nature, but rapid development and better amenities as well.

Sinhagad Road is emerging as one of the better areas to invest, with its connectivity to the main city as well as the Pune-Mumbai highway and ample supply of potable water. Those interested in seeking vicinity to nature as well as connectivity to city prefer Sinhagad Road.

General manager of Darode Jog Properties, Parag Borawake said, “The vicinity of the historic Sinhagad Fort, Khadakwasla dam and the green valley of Sinhagad fort is attracting flat buyers.” The area of Sinhagad is surrounded by green valley and natural scenery with several nature spots. Moreover, the entire Sinhagad Road from Swargate is connected with concrete. A flyover is coming up at Dhayari Chowk to ensure smooth traffic. Even the Bus Rapid Transit System (BRTS) is to be introduced soon by the Pune Municipal Corporation.

Areas of Baner-Balewadi and Bavdhan are in demand by flat buyers as they have greater connectivity to Mumbai-Bengaluru national highway. After the core city area got saturated, the areas of Sinhagad Road, Baner-Balewadi and Bavdhan are much sought as they have good quality basic infrastructure like roads, hospitals, schools and shopping mall, said builders.
