24 year old Infosys employee found murdered in Pune, body dumped close to Hinjewadi IT Park

The body of a 24 year old man was found by locals in Hinjewadi. Sources indicate that his body looked mutilated and was probably brutally murdered. The incident is suspected to have happened on 29 May 2014. The body was discovered late Thursday night in a deserted area near Mharunje village road. Hinjewadi that hosts the Rajiv Gandhi IT park is surrounded by small villages that have large open fields. 

An Infosys ID card was found with the body which identified the deceased as Varun Sherry, an employee at Infosys. There were multiple injuries on his body allegedly caused by a sharp weapon. His body has been taken to Sasson general hospital for post mortem.
