19-yr-old robbed at gunpoint

A nineteen-year-old first year Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) student of Sinhagad College was allegedly robbed by two unidentified persons on Sinhagad Road on Saturday night.

Krutharath Ramu Ankini of Orissa, who lives at Rajgad hostel of the college campus, complained at the Dattawadi police. Inspector Satish Govekar said, “Around 11.15pm, two unidentified persons on bike stopped Ankini when he was going to have coffee at an eatery near the college campus. Taking advantage of the isolated place, the duo threatened him at gunpoint and stole his two mobiles valued at Rs19,500 and Rs60 and fled. They also robbed a mobile from another pedestrian Swapnil Dhufale (23) .”
