Toppers reveal their success mantra

Tanvi Kulkarni from Lilavati Poddar school, who scored 98.6% in the ICSE, said, “I had worked hard for this and would like to thank my parents for encouraging me. My teachers also helped me a lot.” She has enrolled herself in RN Poddar School and wants to pursue engineering.

Priya Mehta from Chatrabhhuj Narsee Monjee Memorial School, at Vile Parle, scored 98.5% in the ICSE. She is happy that hours of hard work and study has paid of good results. “I knew I would score well and secretly I wanted to come first. It is the hard work put by me and my teachers that I have got a high score,” she said.

Ankur Mallick, Lilavatibai Podar Senior Secondary School, who scored 97.7% in ISC, said, “I haven’t take any tuitions and used to attend all my classes. My teachers have helped me a lot.” He has also appeared for IIT-JEE and wants to be an electronics engineer. To relax himself during the exams, he used to play computer games and go for walks.

Naveen Bhutoria, from the same school as Mallick, scored 97.25% in the ISC commerce. Bhutoria is grateful to his maths teacher for helping him score one of the highest marks in Commerce. “Pritesh sir is my godfather and I a lot to him,” he said. He hopes to Shri Ram College of Commerce in Delhi.
