Divya, daughter of slain top cop Vijay Salaskar who was killed during 26/11 terror attack, is likely to join Shiv Sena's recently launched youth wing, Yuva Sena, party sources said.

"Divya would be soon joining the Yuva Sena in presence of party executive president Uddhav Thackeray. There are some other youngsters also joining the party," a youth wing leader said confirming her entry.

She was supposed to join the party today, however, all the senior leaders of Sena are busy with the ensuing Kalyan-Dombivali municipal corporation polls. So, the programme has been postponed, the leader said.

However, when contacted, Divya refused to divulge details of her entry into Yuva Sena.

"I am still contemplating whether to join Yuva Sena. But if I join, everyone would come to know," Divya, said.

Divya is recently back from London after successfully completing her MA in Human Resource Management from Westminster University.

She was the student of DG Ruparel College and passed in 2008. Her father was killed in 26/11 terror attacks on Mumbai two years back while fighting terrorists near Kama hospital in south Mumbai.

Yuva Sena was launched last Sunday by Sena chief Bal Thackeray. It is being helmed by his grandson, 20-years-old Aditya.
