Raj taps power of GenNext

As thousands of young men and women fill up their registration forms across the state for membership to the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) youth wing, the party has decided who their leaders will be. The wing will be headed by Aditya Shirodkar (who is also one of the chief organiser of the party) and advocate Archit Jayakar.

“I want to contribute for the society and have full support from my parents,” said Archit, son of noted advocate Mohan Jayakar and actress Smita Jayakar. Aware that his dad has led out a big career in law for him, Archit is confident he will manage both. “Politics is not a dirty word for me. I want to be part of the system to bring change rather than merely talk,” he said. But politics is nothing new for Aditya, son of MNS leader Rajan Shirodkar. Like father, the son also graduated from DG Ruparel college and held various posts there. He now has a clear agenda. “We will be focusing on changing the existing syllabus. It has to be updated.
