Manmohan Singh , Pratibha Patil discuss Jammu and Kashmir situation, Naxalism, C'Wealth Games

Prime minister Manmohan Singh today called on president Pratibha Patil and discussed with her the situation in Jammu and Kashmir, Left-wing extremism and the Commonwealth Games.

The meeting lasted for 45 minutes.

"The two leaders discussed about the just concluded state visit of the president to Cambodia and Laos," a Rashtrapati Bhavan statement said.

"They also discussed about matters pertaining to Jammu and Kashmir situation, Left-wing extremism, food storage facility, rehabilitation of cloudburst victims in Leh region, Commonwealth Games to be held next month in New Delhi and various other issues of national and international importance," the statement.
