Man commits suicide in Goregaon area of Mumbai

A partly decomposed body of a 32-year-old man was found in Goregaon West on Sunday afternoon. According to Goregoan police, the deceased, Deepak Singh, worked as an electrician on construction sites and lived alone at his SRA flat in Ganesh Co- operative society in Goregaon(west).

The incident came into light when Singh's father, after trying to contact his son for three days, did not get any response. He then went to his son's residence in Goregaon on Sunday afternoon and found the door locked from inside. He then approached the police who broke the door and found Singh hanging from the ceiling fan.

"The body was partly decomposed so it appeared that the suicide was committed  two days ago. We have sent the body for post-mortem examination. A case of accidental death has been registered” said a police officer from 0the Goregaon police station.
