Japanese prime minister Yukio Hatoyama today paid homage to the victims of the 26/11 terror attacks at Hotel Taj and Trident, the two luxury hotels which were targeted last year by terrorists.
The PM, who is leading a high level delegation, arrived first at the Hotel Trident where he signed the guest book and offered floral tributes.
The Japanese premier then proceeded to Hotel Taj Mahal where he would be staying today.
The 62-year-old Japanese leader, who is accompanied by his wife Miyuki Hatoyama, will be received at the Raj Bhavan by governor SC Jamir at a reception dinner.
Hatoyama will tomorrow interact with industrialists Ratan Tata and Mukesh Ambani before heading to New Delhi where he would hold delegation-level talks with prime minister Manmohan Singh.
