Constro exhibition begins on Jan 12

The Pune Construction Engineering Research Foundation (PCERF) is organising the12th Constro exhibition in the city from January 12 to 15 at the College of Agriculture ground.

The Constro exhibition has as its theme this time, the renewable energies for housing, affordable housing, sustainable construction and innovative technologies in construction.

Addressing the media, PCERF president Shrikant Nivsarkar said, “Nearly Rs59.2 lakh crore money will be spent in the construction industry in the next two years. We want that money to be utilised properly and this year’s Constro exhibition will be focused on it. The exhibition will be organised over 18,000 sq meters area with 300 stalls. We are expecting more than 20,000 industrialists to participate.”

Industrialists from Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat and Karnataka will be participating in the exhibition.
Chairman of the Constro 2012 exhibition, Naren Kothari said, “Last year, business of nearly Rs325 crore was generated in the Constro. This year, we are hopeful of generating business of Rs500 crore.”
