Constable injures self while loading revolver

A constable of railway police today accidentally fired one bullet from his revolver while loading it, injuring self, police said.

The victim Ramchandra Kadam (32) was loading the bullets in the revolver in armoury room of Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST) railway police when he misfired, they said adding that he had sustained injuries on his thigh.

The incident occurred at CST railway station in south Mumbai, they added. He was rushed to Bombay hospital where he was being treated, police said adding that he was out of danger.
