Cancer NGO chief’s good work will be hit, says son

Family of professor AA Kazi, who is embroiled in the case related to the change of management of two religious trusts in Sindhudurg, on Sunday said that the disputed issue and legal battle will affect the constructive work that the professor was doing for the Cancer Aid and Research Foundation (CARF). Kazi is in custody of Dongri police.

“We are worried that the current crises will affect the constructive work of managing the activities of the cancer NGO and thus affect thousands of poor patients and even the employees of the NGO,” said Irfan A Kazi, son of professor Kazi. Professor Kazi was a senate member, dean at Mumbai university and an executive council member of Anjuman-i-Islam, Mumbai.
