A kidney donor has accused BJP candidate of Phulambri assembly constituency in Aurangabad district Haribhau Bagade of cheating him.

Raju Hirakchand Lohade of Pimpalgaon village in the district, told reporters that he had donated his kidney to grand son of Haribhau Bagade. But Bagade did not fulfil his promises of giving a sum of Rs5,000 and providing a job to him.

Lohade, also president of an NGO named Aurangabad Jagruti Manch, said that both the kidneys of Bagade's grand son were damaged. In 2002, Lohade donated his kidney to the patient on request of Haribhau Bagade. Bagade, then promised him to provide a 'permanent job' either in a bank or in any company and also had assured to give Rs5,000 for donating his kidney.

Lohade said that now he is facing many health problems since last six years and is not able to work hard for his livelihood.

Clarifying his stand on the allegations levelled by Lohade, Bagade said that he had not deceived anybody and Lohade came to visit him after reading an advertisement in a
newspaper.

He also said that the kidney was transplanted to his grandson after completing the legal formalities. He also alleged that it is just a conspiracy to defame him as he is contesting the assembly election.
