Another theft at Mumbadevi

Within 48 hours of the Zaveri Bazaar parading incident where three accused were made to walk the crowded streets with slates proclaiming them as law breakers hanging from their necks, another case of bag snatching was reported at Dhanji Street junction, Mumbadevi.

An unknown person snatched a bag belonging to Vaman Ghadi, 32, and fled. The bag contained gold and diamond jewellery worth Rs15.75 lakh.

A case was registered by officials of LT Marg police station and a search for the accused is on.
