Animated beat marshals in Mumbai

Mumbai police commissioner Sanjeev Dayal now has two additional helping hands in his department: police beat marshals Abhay and Sneha.

The new recruits, however, will stand out as they are the latest animated brand ambassadors of the Mumbai Police.

Created by Kanakasabapathy Pandyan, director of Graphiti School of Animation, Abhay and Sneha were unveiled during the launch of the CopTech Forum on Monday at the Mumbai Police Auditorium, Azad Maidan. Mumbai Police has also scheduled the release of a series of films featuring Abhay and Sneha in Mumbai theatres and in other media to share simple messages of safety and security.

“These are animation films featuring Abhay and Sneha, representing the Mumbai Police,” said Dayal.
