Amol Tukaram Sutar, 23, Mahesh Ramdas Ranpise, 29, Sanjay Tulshiram Bonde, 26, Sudhir Ashok Murkute, 29, Akash Vishnu Sutar, 18, Tushar Babusha Sutar, 27, and Santosh Laxman Gawade, 31, were remanded in police custody till Wednesday.

An independent candidate who was defeated in the Pune Municipal Corporation election has been arrested along with seven others by the Chatuhshrungi police for their alleged involvement in attacking over two dozen houses and some 30 vehicles in Sutarwadi area of Pashan.
Amol Tukaram Sutar, 23, Mahesh Ramdas Ranpise, 29, Sanjay Tulshiram Bonde, 26, Sudhir Ashok Murkute, 29, Akash Vishnu Sutar, 18, Tushar Babusha Sutar, 27, and Santosh Laxman Gawade, 31, were remanded in police custody till Wednesday.
The police had arrested 13 people for going on rampage in Sutarwadi area seeking revenge of Langhe’s defeat in the municipal polls. Sumit Vitthal Ranpise had filed a police complaint accusing the arrested men of attacking Sumit’s uncle near Vitthal temple in Sutarwadi for campaigning for the elected NCP candidate Rohini Chikte.
