A 39-year-old man and his accomplice were arrested for allegedly selling forged hall tickets and identity cards to candidates appearing for constable recruitment examination.
Police said Ashish Pednekar, 39, and his associate Ramchandra Ugvekar alias Vicky, 50, sold I-cards to the victims for Rs3,500.
Three rubber seals, xerox copies of three forged hall tickets, portable printing machine and a computer hard disc were also seized from Pednekar’s Navi Mumbai house.
Assistant police inspector Manoj Dhamunse said Pednekar was earlier arrested for selling forged mark sheets and certificates.
