"When the scavengers opened the jute bag, they found the body. They then approached us. We took the body in our custody and sent it for post-morterm," said police inspector Sampat Munde from Navghar police station.
The police are awaiting the medical reports to ascertain the cause of death. However, a case of murder has been registered against unknown person(s).
