Student not getting job due to Mumbai University's negligence

Shraddha Kalambikar, who has recently cleared her final semester of Bachelor in Engineering (BE), is still struggling to get a job as the varsity is yet to allow her to re-evaluate her papers written three years ago.

DNA had earlier highlighted the plight of the students studying in the Yadavrao Tasgaonkar College in Karjat. In 2015, the student had failed to clear the Engineering Mechanics paper in the second semester and had reappeared for the exam in May. Her result showed 'passed in the previous exam'. However, she did not get any mark sheet from the university despite several requests.In May 2017, the varsity wrote to the college, declaring that she had failed. Now, her fate hangs in limbo as the varsity is neither allowing the student to apply for re-evaluation nor asking her to appear for the paper again.
