Mumbai Divisional Board slapped a show cause notice on Kiddies Paradise School, Mumbra asking them why the school should not be derecognized. The decision was taken after the 16-member committee set up by the Mumbai Division Board following the SSC paper leak fiasco submitted an inquiry report which stated that the school is not following the norms of Right to Education.

The school is allegedly the source of five SSC papers leaks between March 10 and 19 according to the police. Amboli police arrested four accused, including Firoz Khan (47), who had been working as a maths teacher in the school for the past 10 months. Police claimed that Khan clicked photographs of the papers as soon as the seals were broken in school head Zakiya Shaikh's cabin and circulated them.

The committee headed by Dr Subhash Borse, Secretary of Mumbai Divisional Board, said, "The show cause notice was served by the board after the report of the committee found out that the school was not following any RTE norms. They didn't have sufficient teachers in school. Most of them were appointed at very low salary packages, many were not qualified to teach. We also found out that during the board exams, the principal of the school used to send her husband to collect question papers from the custodian, though he was not appointed for any board work."
