The 22-year-old photojournalist who was allegedly gang raped by five men inside the Shakti Mills compound on August 22 completed her deposition before the special sessions court on Friday.

The prosecution claimed that the victim was in a much better frame of mind than she was on Thursday.

“The victim was quite composed on Friday while recording her evidence. She got a little bit irritated during the cross-examination. But the defence counsels were sensitive enough while quizzing her,” special public prosecutor Ujjwal Nikam told dna.

On Thursday, the 22-year-old fainted in the courtroom when she was shown and asked to identify the video clip, which the accused had shown her while committing the act inside the Shakti Mills compound.

The court adjourned the hearing till Monday for recording evidence of other witnesses.

Meanwhile, Nikam informed dna that they had also framed charges against the four arrested in connection with the other gang rape that took place inside the Shakti Mills compound on July 31.
“We have framed charges against the accused,” Nikam said.
