Sena workers write on KEM's doc's head, held

Two Shiv Sena party workers were detained and later arrested after they tried to write the number '0' on the forehead of Dr Harish Pathak, who heads the Forensic department at KEM hospital.

The workers said that they were upset after the hospital labelled the bodies of the deceased with numbers. The decision also drew heavy criticism. The hospital said that it was done to expedite the process of identification.

"These people barged into the hospital and wanted to write on the doctor's forehead. They were stopped by hospital staff," said N Ambika, deputy commissioner of police, zone 4.
