Salaam Bombay Foundation (SBF), a non-profit organisation, is back with the third season of its much-awaited initiative 'Voices'. It is Mumbai's biggest inter-school peer learning platform via the performance and visual arts.

'Voices' sensitizes school children on social issues by engaging them in discussions and inculcating good social values at a tender age. It also provides students with a platform to express their views on issues pertinent to them through songs, drama and posters.

The event will be held on Sept 25 at St Andrews Auditorium, Bandra (W) and is powered by dna for print support. Prizes for winners are being sponsored by mGage.

More than 50 schools are expected to participate this year. Shitla Prabhu, principal, Rizvi Springfield High School said, "Voices not only accentuates children's talent, but also spreads awareness about ill-effects of tobacco. It is a great platform for peer learning and interaction amongst children from different backgrounds"

Voices 2014 also invites schools to battle for the title 'Mumbai City Champs'. The mega quiz contest is being conducted by quiz master Dyu D'Cunha, co-founder of Purple Patch Infotainment, a quizzing content and research company.
