Peeping Tom at prestigious business centre in Thane leaves businesswoman shocked

A 34-year-old entrepreneur was shocked to find one of the housekeeping staffers of a prestigious business centre in Thane peeping inside the ladies' washroom through a window. The incident took place at the Regus Business Center in the posh Hiranandani Estate on Monday. The ruffled businesswoman, a resident of Anand Nagar at GB Road in Thane, immediately lodged a police complaint.

The accused was identified only as Dinesh. It could not be confirmed if he was filming while peeping in. "After the incident, the woman reported the matter through a formal complaint. We will check the CCTV camera footage, as the offence is cognisable. We will soon arrest the accused," said a police official from the Kasarwadavali station.

"We have registered the case under section 354(k) (molestation) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and are investigating further," added the senior police official.
