"Navi Mumbai Entrepreneurs' Meet" to be held on Friday

Riding the wave of the Make in India campaign launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and aiming to encourage multi-national, as well as national companies to manufacture their products in Navi Mumbai — Startup Navi Mumbai, and Tapaswi Group have begun an initiative to launch Navi Mumbai Entrepreneurs' Meet — an event offering to bridge the gap between the budding entrepreneurial community and industry stalwarts.

The event aims at making the city a favored destination among growing start-ups and entrepreneurs. It will be held at the Cidco Exhibition Centre, Vashi — a centre for commercial expos — on March 10, from 3:30 pm - 9 pm.

The event will host speakers such as Dr A Velumani, Founder, Chairman, and Managing Director, Thyrocare Technologies, Sunil Mishra, Chief Strategy Officer, Prop Tiger Housing, Kiran Komatla, Associate Vice President, Burger King, and Rishi Kappal from Eduguild. Pertinent issues like how to get funding, tips for a successful pitch deck, etc will be addressed.

"With an over five lakh social media reach and around 800 entrepreneurs attending the initiative, it will serve as a great networking opportunity. The meet is slated to have six continuous hours of activities, comprising panel discussions and workshops," said an organiser.

The event focuses solely on uplifting students and exposing them to the world of entrepreneurship, hence they are also invited to attend this event for free.
