Mumbai railway cops send photo of man with Esther Anuhya to RTOs

The Mumbai railway police probing Esther Anuhya’s murder have sent the mysterious man’s photo to three regional transport offices (RTOs).The man is seen walking ahead of Esther in the CCTV grab of Kurla terminus, Shivaji Dhumal, a senior police inspector of Kurla railway police station, said: “The top RTO officers assured us that they will, with the help of a software technology, be able to trace the man’s details if he has sought a driving licence with help of his picture. They will get the  details from any of the three RTO offices —  Mumbai Central, Andheri or Wadala TT,” he said, adding that after they get the details, they will able to crack the case.

The railway police have launched a manhunt for the suspect in predominated south Indian areas such as  Sion, Matunga, Dharavi, Sahu Nagar, Antop Hill, Worli, Chembur and Mulund. The suspect’s photos have been sent to all police stations in Mumbai, Thane and Navi Mumbai.

The Kurla railway police team led by inspector Santosh Dhanwate, who visited the woman’s native place in Andhra Pradesh, said SPS Prasad, 59, Esther’s father and relatives identified the girl as Esther but were unable to identify the man. The 23-year-old techie’s body was found after she went missing from Kurla on January 5.
