In a housebreaking incident, the Ghatkopar police have registered a case against an absconding accused who is said to have looted valuables and cash worth Rs 9 lakh from a residential building of Kama Galli area of Ghatkopar west. The accused who planned this theft in daylight on Saturday, looted gold and diamond jewelry sets and other valuables including cash which was kept inside the wardrobe of the complaint identified as Manoj Shah ( 56).

"Shah's wife was out to Vashi and later Shah also left his flat on Saturday noon for some work and was scheduled to come home late. We believe the accused is a professional thug and was well known of Shah and his valuables.
