Mega block on Mumbai's Central Railway tomorrow for maintenance work

Central Railway will operate mega block on its suburban sections tomorrow for carrying out maintenance work.

According to an official note, the block will be operated on down fast line between Matunga and Mulund stations from 10.30am to 4pm.

Down fast line services leaving CST from 9.55am to 3.25pm will be diverted on down slow line between Matunga and Mulund stations and will halt at all stations between Sion and Mulund during the block period.

All up harbour line services from Panvel/Belapur/Vashi to CST leaving Kurla from 10.40am to 3.54pm will run via main line between Kurla and Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST). These trains will not halt at Curry Road and Chinchpokli stations.

Down harbour line services from CST to Panvel/Belapur/Vashi will run on Down Harbour line proper. Down Harbour line services to Bandra/Andheri leaving CST from 10.47am to 4.03pm and Up Harbour line services towards CST leaving Bandra/Andheri from 10.41am to 3.48pm will remain suspended.

Central Railway will operate a special traffic and power block on up and down lines between Kalyan and Badlapur section on Sunday from 10.45am to 12.15pm for erection of two track booms.

Suburban services in down direction leaving Kalyan from 10.26am to 12.04pm and in Up direction leaving Badlapur/Ambernath from 10.40am to 12.44pm will remain suspended.
