Lost girls found by Kalyan cops sent to remand home

The Kalyan police found four girls crying at Kalyan ST stand on Wednesday morning while they were patrolling the area. The girls, aged 8, 6, 3 and 2 years are sisters and had made their way from Kalyan station to the bus stand. The police are still trying to find out where they came from. "They spoke in Telugu which we could not understand," said P Nisrad, sub inspector, Mahatma police station, Kalyan.

The police then took their pictures and started circulating them on WhatsApp looking for someone who could translate Telugu. "A reporter from Sakshi channel offered to translate. We have sent a message to Hyderabad police and are trying to trace their parents," said Nisrad. The girls went sent to a remand home in Bhiwandi.
