Looking ahead!

With Republic Day just around the corner, we are on the final lap of our ‘How Safe Is Your City’ campaign (http://dnaindia.com/HSIYC). In this edition, we check out the safety quotient of the Western Suburbs. Though incidents of petty crime is rising and a general feeling of apprehension has marred the safe city, it is reassuring to know that the police are doing their bit to chalk out areas, based on their safety quotient, and are coming up with ways and means to tackle the situation. Residents too are proactive in making their societies and areas safer.

Very soon we will be launching our “Good Morning” initiative to share the joy of creativity, innovation and talent. On crisp weekend mornings, a set of readers with a particular interest or from a particular club will come together to try their hand in something completely different and new for them. With National Tourism Day being celebrated on January 25, we caught up with a young travel curator duo, who have added a new dimension to the idea of travel. We enjoyed talking to tourists, who have visitied and/or lived in the western suburbs, for their take on the suburbs.
