The Western Express Highway has been brought to a standstill all the way to south Mumbai.

As the entire Western Express Highway came to a standstill on Monday, the residents of Mumbai took to social media to vent their frustrations, kill time or make light of the situation because well, there's not much else anyone could do.
While traffic woes are commonplace in Mumbai, peak hour or not, this time the Western Railways locals were running with a 45 minutes delay which may have caused more commuters to resort to taking a cab to work adding to the chaos.
Actor R Madhavan posted a video of the enormous jam that has brought the entire Western side to a stand still all the way to south Mumbai and beyond. His tweet brought both horror and humour to the readers and you can see it here!

While some residents were furious about the jam and its repercussions, some, bless their souls, were able to find humour in the situation and catch a few laughs.
As it turns out, buying a car in Mumbai wasn't a great idea!!
