Jilted lover attacks woman with blade, held

After a woman refused to get physically intimate with her boyfriend, she was allegedly attacked by him with a blade at a hotel in Dadar(west) on Monday. The Bhoiwada police have arrested the youth for attempted to murder.

The accused has been identified as Mohammed Afzal Aslam(24). According to police, the incident took place on Monday afternoon at a hotel room in Dadar(W) where Aslam had taken victim. The couple had checked in in the hotel room on Monday and was inside the room for sometime when suddenly a noise of them came, police said.

On hearing the noise, hotel staffers informed police who on reaching at the spot found the victim unconscious in the room. "After checking-in the hotel room, Aslam forced on to her and the woman refused to get physically intimate with him when, in a fit of rage, the accused attacked the her with a blade," said police.

"Immediately, we rushed both of them to KEM hospital. The victim is unconscious since yesterday. We have arrested Afzal and our probe is on," said police.
