Maratha organisations have conveyed to chief minister Devendra Fadnavis that all their demands are very much in public domain so there is no need to discuss with the government. Now, its time for Fadnavis is to accept and act upon it immediately.

After a couple of silent protests from the maratha community, Fadnavis has said that he is ready to talk with the protesters.

The emerging demands of the community include justice to Kopari rape and murder victim, reservation for the maratha community, implementation of Swaminath report for minimum support price to their crops, scholarships to their children and waiving off the farmers' loan.

DNA tried to talk to various backbones of this protest including Sambhaji Brigade and Maratha Seva Sangh leaders to get their next strategy and course of action. They told during each protest that the maratha community school girls who led the protest, handed over the demand letters to their respective district collectors in the end of the protest.

"We had successful silent protests in Aurangabad, Jalna, Latur, Jalgaon, Navi Mumbai, Solapur etc. Chief minister Fadnavis has to read the submitted memorandums and act upon them. If all our demands are already before him, then why he needs to discuss with people," said the maratha community leader.

Another maratha leader added that Fadnavis has to either accept their demands or say that he is not capable to do so rejecting the demands. "We want the answer in 'yes' or 'no'. Then, we will decide our next course of action. We have decided not one or any group will go to discuss with the government. Our protests are leaderless and faceless. This is the community protest so the community issues has to be resolved. By calling a group of people, the chief minister Fadnavis wants to break the community and cripple our ongoing successful protests," said Advocate Jitendra Patil.

The maratha community people also questioned the CM that when he recently increased their MLAs and ministers' salaries, did he call them for the discussion? When he was appointed as the chief minister, did he ask or discuss with them?

"Maharashtra and central government have taken several decisions suo motto. They did not call for us discussion. Our demands are very much in public domain and in black and white. Why he is wasting the time? Chief minister Fadnavis should immediately make the announcement of accepting the Maratha community demands and fix the date of implementations. The day, he makes the announcement, we will stop the further planned protests," said senior maratha leader.

The social media is full of buzz with the proposed morchas in Baramati, Satara and Kolhapur. These all three locations are very significant for its dynamic Maratha leadership. Who will get more Maratha community crowd on street? Whether it will be NCP chief and Maratha strongman Sharad Pawar in Baramati, or Chhatrapati Shivaji's descendent Udyanraje Bhonsale in Satara or Sambhaji Raje, a descendant of Chhatrapati Shivaji and Rajarshi Shahu Maharaj in Kolhapur? People are curious to see these locations protests.

After the successful protests, in Marathwada, North Maharashtra and Western Maharashtra, the Vidharbha region districts are also planning and working hard to get the Maratha-kunbhi people in protest participations to show the solidarity behind the community in state.
