Hu Ba Hu from Pad Man launches today

Hu Ba Hu is the latest song from the forthcoming film Pad Man. The track has been composed and sung by Amit Trivedi, while Kausar Munir has penned the lyrics. With its catchy beats, Hu Ba Hu, which will be launched today, will surely be lapped up by the audience.

Written and directed by R Balki, Pad Man stars Akshay Kumar, Sonam Kapoor, and Radhika Apte. The film has already generated a lot of curiosity among movie-goers due to its unconventional subject. Now, its music, too, is climbing the popularity charts. 

For those who came in late, the plot is based on the life of Arunachalam Muruganantham, a social entrepreneur from Coimbatore who made it his mission to provide sanitary napkins to women of rural areas at an affordable price. As a result, he invented the low-cost sanitary pad-making machine. Through his endeavour, he not only created awareness about traditional practices of menstruation that were unhygienic but also empowered women. His journey caught Twinkle Khanna’s attention, who wrote about him in her second book, The Legend Of Lakshmi Prasad. Twinkle felt it was an important story that needed to be told to a larger audience, so she decided to turn it into a feature film.
