Instead, we should let the success within us drive us forward even further," said Dr. Subhash Chandra, chairman of Essel group and ZEE, while sharing his success mantra with the students of Symbiosis International University in Lavale, Pune. Dr. Chandra addressed almost 400 students for the upcoming episodes of the Dr. Subash Chandra (DSC) show. The show has successfully completed 25 shows till date, traveling to various cities across India, including Mumbai, Noida, Kolkata, Jaipur, Lucknow, Ahmedabad, Ghaziabad and Pune.
While sharing ideas to help young entrepreneurs and aspiring minds flourish in business, Dr. Chandra said, "If a person thinks of the past while doing something, there will be regrets. If he focuses on the future, there will be anxiety. Instead, he should live in the present and concentrate on the job at hand. Only then will his actions be dynamic and lead to success."
Quoting Buddha's preachings, he cautioned the audience about the ill-effects of greed, saying, "According to the teachings of Buddha, craving is the seed of greed. Craving can be not only for material gains but also for comforts of all five senses and can be of any kind. Greed is the major reason for human beings' mysteries."
A self-made man, Dr. Chandra has consistently demonstrated his ability to identify new businesses and lead them on the path to success. It takes immense courage and motivation to shape ideas into reality. From trading goods, setting up a packaging industry to opening up theme parks and multiplexes, and creating India's largest and most profitable TV media group and launching an English newspaper, Dr. Chandra has traveled a long way.
It was his vision that helped give birth to the satellite TV industry in India in 1992.
