Devendra Fadnavis takes suggestions from citizens for manifesto

BJP’s city unit President Ashish Shelar said that the BJP manifesto for Mumbai will be launched by CM Fadnavis on Tuesday. BJP state unit President Raosaheb Danve was also present during the live interaction.

As part of ‘Our City, Our Agenda initiative’, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis held an interaction with 20 citizens from Maharashtra on Monday and also replied to live questions from viewers. The interaction was aimed at incorporating citizens’ suggestions in to the BJP manifesto for the Zilla parishad and upcoming civic elections. 

Highlighting a major concern of public toilets for women, CM Fadnavis announced that he would introduce measures to take ahead the Right to Pee movement, and will incorporate it in the BJP manifesto. As well as ensure that all municipal corporations will provide public toilets for women.

Claiming that end-to-end traffic solutions will be provided in Mumbai with a single ticket for various modes of transportation, Fadnavis also added that the Right to Service act will be extended to municipal corporations and not only the state. Dedicated cycle lanes would also be provided.
