Cyber cafe owner held for raping two girls

A cyber cafe owner from Shahapur has been booked for raping two girls and fooling the third one and getting engaged. The three girls are from Shahapur, Karjat and Akola.

Prakash Singh, 26, (name changed) was arrested on June 29 after two girls filed a complaint and will remain in custody till July 3.

Four years back, he met the first girl, who is 21 years and from Shahapur, and got into a relationship. He lured the girl for marriage and was in a physical relationship for two years and later met the second girl at a marriage function. They exchanged numbers and they got into a relationship. The second victim is 24 years and from Karjat.

On June 15, Singh got engaged to the third girl aged 21, from Akola. It was an arrange marriage. "After few days the girl got a call where she was told about the man's affairs. When she confronted him, he denied," said an officer.

A source said, "The first victim tried to commit suicide. When both the girls learnt about Singh's engagement, they registered a case."
