CST-Titwala slow train breaks down, commuters inconvenienced

The CST-Titwala slow train broke down near Mumbra at around 12 noon on Monday.

The breakdown of the train caused a major blockage on the Thane-Kalyan stretch, which meant several trains were stalled on the slow line. Central Railway officials said that they will soon divert slow trains on the fast down track in order to salvage the situation.

The incident has caused inconvenience to thousands of commuters traveling via that route.
