The Dindoshi Sessions court while denying anticipatory bail to a 70-year-old man, Baburao Parab, who was accused of molesting a lady, held that the kind of filthy language and obscene gestures made by the accused, as alleged in the FIR, does not call for the grant of bail even on the grounds of age of the accused. The court held that the accused and the woman reside in the same locality and if released on bail, he might threaten the victim.

The court in its orders held that it has perused the FIR copy, as well as the statement of the victim, in which, she has narrated the manner in which the accused had allegedly abused her in a filthy language, and also allegedly made obscene gesture which made her feel ashamed.

"Considering the filthy words uttered by the accused, as mentioned in the FIR though, he is above 60 years of age, he does not deserve anticipatory bail. The accused and the victim are residing in the same vicinity and if he is released on bail, there is possibility that he can extend threats to the complainant," held the court.

The accused in June 2016, was sitting with her son on a bench that was reserved for senior citizens in her society premises. Parab approached the lady and allegedly abused her in filthy language and displayed alleged obscene gestures, which left her very embarrassed and ashamed, she thus approached the Dindoshi police station and lodged a complaint.

Parab however in his complaint claimed that he is falsely implicated in the case. He also claimed that he is a 70-year-old man and that he is suffering with a number of age-related ailments, thus he pleaded for anticipatory bail.
