Youth congress state unit president Vishwakeet Kadam and Congress state unit spokesperson Sachin Savant while addressing a press conference on Monday said that the BJP government has failed on all counts and instead of seeking resignations of its corrupt ministers is trying to silence the Opposition. The Congress is going to stage demonstrations in all the districts, said Savant. He said that various programmes would be held to expose the BJP-led government on Aug 22 and 23.

Kadam said that NSUI national president Amrinderjeet Singh Brar, and secretary Himmat Singh would lead the protest march on August 19. He said that the youth Congress march would culminate into a gherao of the Mantralaya at 11.30 am on August 19. Kadam added that despite repeated scams the Fadnavis government was on a spree of doling out clean chits. The chief minister, he added, was undermining the process of inquiry while giving clean chits to his ministers.
