CM Fadnavis asked BJP workers to reach out to every corner of the state and have a dialogue with farmers and the common people on the street.
Terming Congress-NCP leaders as shameless for taking out Sangharsh Yatra after ruining farmers and agriculture in the state, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Thursday asked the BJP workers to retaliate Sangharsh Yatra with Samwad Yatra (interaction with people).
CM Fadnavis asked BJP workers to reach out to every corner of the state and have a dialogue with farmers and the common people on the street. He asked them to communicate effectively the measures taken by his government to improve agricultural sector as a whole.
Addressing the concluding session of the 2-day state executive meeting of the BJP at Pimpri-Chinchwad near Pune, Fadnavis said that on one hand Congress and NCP ruined farmers of the state and on the other, the same leaders are taking out Sangharsh Yatra for farm loan waiver. Fadnavis said that these people looted farmers money and became richer in the name of farmers' loan waiver. He also said that he wonders how shameless these people can become and the courage they have to take out this yatra. While celebrating birth anniversary of Late Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay, the party workers should spent a fortnight in earmarked constituency and spread the good work done by the government, he added.
He also said that the target for half a million BJP workers is to reach out to 5 million households and contact two crore people including 2.5 million farmers.
Asking the party workers to accept victory in local bodies with humility, state unit president Raosaheb Danve said that there are no elections in state for next two years and these two years are to be dedicated for reaching out to people.
