Cheating case: Actor Sahil Khan told to provide copies of photos to Ayesha Shroff

Four days after actor Sahil Khan produced intimate photos of him and Ayesha Shroff, wife of actor Jackie Shroff, the court on Friday directed Khan's counsel to provide Shroff's lawyer with the same. Shroff's counsel will file an appropriate reply on February 13.

On February 13, the court is likely to pass its orders on the anticipatory bail application filed by Khan.

According to Shroff's complaint, she had expressed her interest in buying an expensive car for Jackie. Khan had allegedly claimed that he can help her get a discount and, hence, she gave him Rs1 crore. Ayesha also claimed that she had paid him extra for an expensive watch for her son and diamond earnings for her daughter.

However, Khan, even after receiving the amount, allegedly neither handed over the gifts nor returned the money. Thus, she said, she had filed a cheating case against him in November 2014.

Khan had then approached the sessions court seeking anticipatory bail. The court has granted him interim protection till the passing of final orders.

Public prosecutor Iqbal Solkar told dna, "It's possible that the photos are morphed; thus, the court has directed Khan to provide Shroff with copies."
