"Sunil Paraskar did not take the police vehicle while going to Madh Island along with the victim, a model by profession. Also he did not take the operator as well as his driver while he had allegedly taken the model to the bungalow," reads the 724-page charge sheet filed by the crime branch against the IPS officer before the Borivali Magistrate court on Tuesday.

The charge sheet reads that the driver of the police vehicle as well as his operator did recognize the victim and so did the victim.

Paraskar has been charged with sections 376(2) (rape by a police officer), 376 C (intercourse by superintendent of jail, remand home, etc) and 354(D) (stalking) of Indian Penal Code, which the model had accused against the officer.

The 26-year old model has accused the officer of repeatedly raping her under the pretext of helping her.

The charge sheet says that they have relied on a number of call detail reports of the model.

The document says the police have tried to prove the case through the reports from the Motor Vehicle department, which had rectified Paraskar's vehicle after it met with an accident.

The document further reads that it has recorded the statement 54 witnesses, including that of the sister of the model, the caretaker of the bungalow and the driver of the police van.

As evidence presented to the court include the logbook of the car maintained by the driver of the accused, showing the officer's movement, seven to eight CDs containing conversations between the accused and the model.

The trial will start in the sessions court on June 12.
