Case registered against Vinod Kambli, wife Andrea for allegedly beating their housemaid

An FIR has been registered against former cricketer Vinod Kambli and his wife for allegedly beating up their maid when she asked for salary.

According to reports, Soni, who has been working as a housemaid for two years, was beaten by Kambli and his wife Andrea and was also locked in a room for three days when she asked for salary.

The maid has also accused Kambli and his wife of harassing and abusing her.

The case has been registered in the Bandra police station against Kambli and Andrea under IPC 342, 504, 506 and 34. 

Kambli has not yet been called by the police for questioning.
